The Last Stages of a Build

Final stages of a home build

After construction is complete, it’s understandable to be eager to get the keys to your new custom home and start moving in right away! But just because construction is done, doesn’t mean that the work is complete. There are still some important steps included in our contract that we need to take care of before the house is move-in ready.

The Final Walk Through

The final walk through is our opportunity to show you how to use everything in your house. There’s a lot to go over and we want to ensure a streamlined transition to your new space. This is also a time to double-check for any issues for our construction punch out list that might need to be addressed before you move in.

A Complete Clean

Some homebuilders leave part of the cleanup to the customer, but not Capstone. We’ll clean your new home from top to bottom so that it is sparkling when we hand over the keys. This way, your house will be ready for you to move in and enjoy!

Move In Date

After we’ve received the final payment and the cleaning and construction punch-out list have been completed, your home is ready. You’re free to get your keys, move in, and start enjoying life in your new house!

If you have specific needs or desires for your own custom home, Capstone Custom Homes is the right team for the job. Schedule a time to meet with one of our sales consultants to learn more about our approach to custom home building and start planning your own dream house.
